1. Comfortable environment
Fixstars values the asset of “people” above all else. So, we make sure to provide a very comfortable environment for our employees to prosper in. In this company, there are many top class Japanese engineers, which creates an academic work environment, where people have the freedom to concentrate on their jobs. And the company supports academic pursuits of its employees, such as attending graduate school and writing thesis.

2. Startup culture
This is a young, fast growing company founded in 2002, so you will experience something quite different from large corporations. The spirit of being a startup is still alive here. We are constantly challenging on many new projects.

3. Understanding bosses
I am an arts graduate from an undergrad program, and I was a salesman first. Then I became an engineer, and then started a software firm. Since assuming the post as this company's president, I have faced different challenges like obtaining an engineering doctorate, so it may sound strange to say it so myself, but I can understand joys of being an engineer, salesmen's difficulties, and the satisfactions of being a planner. I am also close in age with my employees, so they often come to me for advice.

A.Since this is a start up venture, we need people who exhibit intellectual curiosity and are outgoing. Leadership and the ability to work in teams are essential qualities for a member of society.
If you studied computer science in university as an undergrad or grad student, that would be even better, but it is not a necessity. Even those without any experience in programming can be taught from scratch if they are educated and intelligent. Since we develop software in everything from firmware to the highest level applications, you should be able to make use of your interests and experiences in this company.
We established subsidiary in Silicon Valley, so we want people who are looking to succeed in business and on the worldwide stage.

A. Fixstars is a startup company with an IT technology core.
As an IT startup company with aims of taking on the world, our priority is first and foremost in technological improvements. So, I want people who are intellectually curious, and they are free to face many challenges that fully utilize their strengths.
